Optimarkets is a company that you do not want to deal with. This is one of the worst scams in the forex space. This company tries to convince clients that it is the best forex broker in the market. However, the design of this company’s operations screams fraud. The people behind this company are not professionals. They are criminals who are hiding their identities.

Furthermore, this company has a similar name to an already exposed scam. We suspect that these are the same founders trying to defraud more people. No legitimate company would want any association with a known scam. The name is a giveaway.

Optimarkets Review, Optimarkets Company

For professional services, only invest in legitimate forex brokers. Such companies have regulators overseeing their activities. As such, they have the trust of millions of seasoned traders. You will never regret investing in such companies.

Meanwhile, here is our review of optimarket.co. It will tell you why you should not trust this firm.

Optimarkets Review

Optimarkets claims to have everything you are looking for. This is such a bold statement for a company that has only been in the market for less than a year. We do not know who these people are trying to tell. We can already tell that we are not dealing with professionals here.

Furthermore, this company cannot deliver any essential services. The company promised a MetaTrader 4 platform, but there was no avail. The only platform available to traders is a webtrader that has no business in the industry. It has a poor design and barely compares to the MetaTrader platforms.

Worse, this company claims that it can help you acquire Bitcoin. Interestingly, the firm does not list cryptocurrencies among the assets it deals with. We can only conclude that this is a marketing strategy. They are just mentioning the name Bitcoin to ride the hype behind cryptocurrencies.

Do not fall for any of these antics. This company has nothing good to offer you. Even the referral program is only a marketing strategy. They want you to believe that you can earn more by referring your friends and family. Do not do that, as you will be recruiting more victims for these scammers.

Optimarkets Investment Plans

Optimarkets has five main account types. These include the Trainee, Standard, Trader, Expert, and VIP accounts. These are some of the most expensive accounts in the market. The lowest account only accepts a minimum investment of $250. From there, the amount goes up fast. The second account accepts a minimum deposit of $2,000. There is no reason you should invest such high amounts in a shady company.

Optimarkets.co Review, Optimarkets.co Accounts

Furthermore, the trading conditions do not justify these amounts. The spreads go all the way up to 3 pips. That is three times what you will find in legitimate companies. Additionally, the leverage goes all the way up to 1:500. This is a dangerous leverage level. It makes trading similar to gambling. Clients stand to lose so much with such leverage levels.

Optimarkets Payment Options

One common trait of scam operations is having a few payment options. This company only supports two payment options. These include credit and debit card payments and cryptocurrency payments.

Unfortunately, such companies are hurting the good name of cryptocurrencies. They use it because they know that it is easy to scam people. This is because cryptocurrency payments are permanent. As such, they do not allow people to recover their funds. Additionally, cryptocurrency transactions are between abstract addresses. It is impossible to trace your money once you part with it.

Worse, this company is touting screen sharing programs like TeamViewer and AnyDesk. Unfortunately, scammers use these programs to steal people’s banking information. They pretend that they are helping you get started or help you recover your funds.

That is far from the truth. Many people have already lost their funds in this manner. Do not give anyone remote access to your computer.

Optimarkets Regulation Status

Optimarkets states that its parent company is Donnybrook Consulting Ltd. Apparently, this company operates from the Commonwealth of Dominica. Sadly, this jurisdiction does not have a forex regulator to keep companies in check.

Additionally, the parent company is already an exposed scam. This company is on the CNMV’s warning list for running another scam website. That is enough evidence that you cannot trust these individuals.

You should never invest in unregulated companies. People running such companies will do anything they see fit. There is no regulator to keep them in check. Furthermore, such a company is already an illegal operation. The founders know it, but they do not care.

No unregulated company can assure you of your funds’ safety. There is no way to verify that they have the proper setup to protect user funds. That includes having enough liquidity as well as segregated accounts. For your own sake, avoid this company like the plague.

The People Behind Optimarkets

Naturally, criminals will want to hide their identities from the public. Therefore, we are not surprised that this company conceals the identities of the founders. There are no names nor faces to associate with this company. Clearly, they are hiding from the law.

Additionally, there is no introduction of professional account managers. We do not know who they are. Additionally, there is no transparency in their trading results. No legitimate forex broker would hide such information from its clients. They will ensure to win the trust of the clients.

It is a bad idea to invest in mysterious people on the internet. That is how people lose their money to scammers. You are better off keeping your money in your own pockets.

Domain Insight

The official domain for this company is optimarket.co. This website first went live on the 26th of October 2020. This is public information that anyone can confirm on Whois.com. Despite this, the company has no shame in presenting false information. The company claims to have been in the market for over six years. Clearly, the founders are willing to lie just to get you to invest.

Additionally, the registration of this website expires after only one year. Therefore, we do not expect these people to stick around for long. This is very common for scam operations.

Fake Customer Testimonials

Optimarkets presents several customer testimonials on its website. However, there is no link to the customers’ social media pages. Additionally, there are no profile pictures for these people. We expect nothing less from such a shady company. Therefore, we cannot trust these testimonials. We can only conclude that the company fabricated them.

Final Verdict

Optimarkets parent company is already on a regulator’s warning list. They are on this list for running a confirmed scam website. We can only conclude that this is the same thing they are doing here. After all, they do not have a license from a reliable regulator.

This is an illegal operation in most jurisdictions. As such, the founders are hiding their identities from the public. They are presenting false information to attract customers. They do not have as much experience as they want people to believe. Additionally, the testimonials on the website are entirely fake.

If you are looking to invest in the forex market, this is not the company for you. Only trust regulated forex brokers with your money. Only such companies can help protect your funds as you invest.

Does Optimarkets have a license and Regulation?

No regulator recognises Optimarkets. Hence, they are illegaly in operation and the licence they feature is forfeit.

Are fund safe at Optimarkets?

No, this is an offshore firm that is operating illigally.
