The Community WOMEN IN PORTHARCOURT was created by Wenenda Ndu-Ajikeru on the 14th of March, 2019 with a vision to connect entrepreneurs with their potential clients in corporate world via social media; to develop ideas towards boosting individual and collective capacities thereby providing ideas, trends, inspiration and the platform to help people and organizations achieve more through collaboration, learning and networking and reaching their potential business clients.

Currently the “Women in Port Harcourt” community has grown to over 27,000 business owners on their online platform @womeninportharcourt.

Women in Port Harcourt #WIP have successfully conducted transactions in millions between these business owners and their clients; and have also conducted business trainings and conducted free skills acquisition for both men and women.

They have also indulge in charity contributions for both women in our community and outside our community. Additionally, the have also sent donations to Schools and the less privilege, connected job seekers to employees on all their platforms.

The first edition of this meeting was on the 8th of December, 2018 as WIP recorded an attendance of 500 business owners, with motivational speakers and business coaches to speak to her audience from Nigeria and beyond.

Thanks to Access Bank which was their major sponsor and since then they have recorded massive growth as they have 27,000 business owners on the platform.

Currently as at 2020, WIP has an online community of over 36,000 entrepreneurs. With her supervision, she have continued to provide help to the entrepreneurs on our platform, giving to charity and the needy.
